How to use the optimized icons
Once downloaded, drop the PNG files into your ox_inventory/web/images/folder. Each file's name must match its item name exactly (for exampleburger.png for an item named burger), then restart the resource. Why optimize inventory icons?
Oversized icons waste memory and can contribute to streaming and texture issues, while a consistent size keeps your inventory looking clean. Resizing to around 100px with compression keeps them crisp while shrinking file size — often dramatically.

What size should ox_inventory item images be?
Most ox_inventory packs work well at 100 by 100 pixels. Use 64 pixels when file size matters most, or 128 pixels when your interface displays larger item art.
Are my item images uploaded to Viper Development?
No. Resizing, palette reduction and ZIP creation happen inside your browser, so the PNG files do not leave your device.
Does the optimizer keep transparent backgrounds?
Yes. The tool preserves PNG transparency while resizing and reducing the color palette.
