Buying GuidesMust-Have QBCore Resources for a New Server
Building a QBCore server? Here are the must-have resource categories every new QBCore server needs, in the order to set them up, from core systems to gameplay.
Where to start
There are 63 guides here. Most people arrive with one of four problems, so rather than reading newest-first, start with the group that matches yours.
You are choosing a framework
The first real decision for a new server. Start with QBCore vs ESX, then what QBCore actually is if you are new to the term. On the ESX side, make sure you are running ESX Legacy rather than an old build — it is the single most common cause of "this script does not work". Already committed and want to move? ESX to QBCore migration covers the real cost.
Your server is broken
Work from the symptom. Server will not start, failed to load resource, oxmysql connection failed, or nobody can connect. When a symptom does not match anything, finding the script conflict is the method that works regardless of the error. For a specific message, the error reference is faster.
Your server is slow
Measure before you change anything — how to use resmon is the prerequisite for everything else. Then work the optimization checklist, and learn to tell optimized from bloated scripts so you stop installing the problem.
You are buying or building scripts
Know what you are getting. Spotting a backdoored script is the one to read before installing anything from an unfamiliar source. How Cfx escrow works and the FiveM TOS explained cover the rules on both sides of a sale, and can you sell FiveM scripts answers the question from the creator's side.
Comparisons
Head-to-heads on the choices that are hard to reverse later: ox_inventory vs qb-inventory, ox_target vs qb-target, and the ox stack overview that ties them together.
